Bestun Group is one of the critical suppliers of construction materials all over Iraq. It was incorporated in the early 1990s in Sulaimaniyah by Mr. Bestun Ahmed Raza. It is one of the most influential suppliers of construction materials in Iraq. It has brought several global brands into Iraq. At the same time, full attention has been paid to local products and reliance on local labor, and long-term plans to build a stronger economic infrastructure.
The beginning was back to 1992 when we started with steel import and export from Iran. This business lasted until 1996. Later we manufactured BESTUN Steel Factory, which was one of the biggest steel factories in Kurdistan Region in 1996. The factory employed 150 local people and contributed in enhancing the economic infrastructure.
Continuation and hardworking was our slogan. On 10 Feb. 2000 BESTUN Company for General Trading, Contracting & Commercial Agencies, Ltd. was incorporated.
BESTUN Company attempted to offer the best products and get commercial agencies. In 2006 the Company was able to get agency of Tasluja Cement Factory for cement product.
In 2008 the Company got Agency of LAFARGE Company for cement products as well.
Meanwhile, from 2008 until 2014 the Company was able to get agency of ERBIL Steel Factory, which was one of the biggest steel factories all over Iraq at that time. It is worth mentioning that this agency lasted for five years.
Expanding and developing our businesses to better serve our society was our key priority. In this context in 2015 and when MASS Steel Factory was ready to work, we were able to work together as an agent.
Our Company ability and position, as well as the high level of selling, made us turn the key agent of MASS Steel Factory in 2018 all over Iraq. Continuation to provide the best service and products for our customers was our motivation. Meanwhile, in 2020 we were able to get agency of MASS Cement Factory.
Back to 2009, we were able to incorporate RIVA Company for Sanitary for providing bathroom and toilet accessories, taps, mixer taps, etc. and helped bringing a number of global brands into Iraq.
To better develop our businesses, we created BALI Brand for Sanitary in 2019, which is one of the key brands for supplying sanitary products all over Iraq.
To become one of the main suppliers of building materials and sanitary materials throughout Iraq, also to establish a BRC factory in northern of Iraq.
